Information is expensive, and you need to start charging for your time and knowledge. In my experience, when you give things away for free, people tend to treat the information as less important. In other words, people who pay, pay attention and are truly motivated.
Remember that being an expert means that you know more about the subject that you are passionate about. The best definition of the word “expert” that I was able to find comes from Niels Bohr.

Steps to start making money right now:
STEP 1 – Set up a PayPal account. PayPal is free and provides you with a method to receive payment.
STEP 2 – Select your webinar platform. I use the video broadcast and desktop sharing by COMF5.
STEP 3 – Promote on your website that you will be providing a webinar on “YOUR PASSION” for only $5 per person. Trust me that charging is in your best interest. The only exception to charging for a webinar is when it has been combined with a purchase, and you are using the webinar to provide additional value to the item or service that was purchased.
STEP 4 – As people sign up, they will be directed to your PayPal account for payment. Once they pay, your PayPal account will send them the information and password to access your live broadcast.
STEP 5 – Prepare a script in advance of your webinar, and start promptly as advertised.

Q: What if not a single person shows up to my webinar?
A: It is not as bad as you think. I encourage you to still have your webinar, and make sure to RECORD the webinar. You are building content, and I said at the very beginning of this report: “content is king”. Everything I have taught you in this book has a purpose. Think of your webinars as valuable content that can be reassembled and redistributed as an informational package worth more to the very people who will eventually be visiting your website.
Q: What are the top 3 important elements in a webinar?
A: Number 1 – Have fun! Don’t come across like a stuffy college professor.
Number 2 – Place a plant in the background (Green leaves have a calming effect).
Number 3 – Make sure not to date yourself. Don’t open up the webinar by saying, “Today is September 1, 2010.” When you redistribute the information, it will sound outdated even if the information is still valid.

Making money online can be really hard and can be very confusing. Especially if you are new to the online arena, and knowing where to start can be an expensive experiment.
I was once there too! When I was first starting to learn about search engine optimization, internet marketing and ad copy, I actually paid 800 dollars for two binders that were filled with text! I have a video of those binders that you can see here.
Those binders now serve as a reminder of how fast you can spend money online and also how fast ad copy has evolved. So, how hard is it to make money online?
I have said before and continue to believe that there is no set of tools that will guarantee online success. It is like saying a hammer makes a good carpenter. Sure, tools can help a successful person be more successful but you must first have the fundamental basics of internet marketing in place.I wish that someone would have shared how to make money online with me before I spent/wasted a lot of money.
Realize, there are no magic set of internet marketing software tools that will make you filthy rich online while you nap on your couch. You must first understand the basics that every single successful online guru that I have studied, researched and paid to be part of their mentoring course have in common.
While there is not a simple set of tactics that will guarantee you to make money from home there is a definite strategy to make money from home.
Here is the strategy that every successful internet marketing guru have in common:
1. They know how to bring legitimate and unique content.
2. They understand the importance of list building.
3. They seek to nourish, nurture, and respect the list.
4. They introduce revenue generating streams to the list.
Knowing how to bring legitimate and unique value –
This requires further discussion. There are some excellent programs such as My Lead System Pro (MLSP) and Carbon Copy Pro (CCPRO) that contain a golden source of internet marketing content. I actually promote the My Lead System Pro product and have be able to person meet and talk with Brian Fanale (one of the co-creators of MLSP). However, I only promote MLSP after people get to know me first. I put people through my internet command system boot camp first to make sure they possess basic internet marketing fundamentals before I expose them to the My Lead System program. Could I make money by simply marketing MLSP? The answer is yes, but, I feel as if I would be doing a disservice to those people. For me, the money is at the end of the process and not at the beginning.
In my humble opinion, people who simply regurgitate internet marketing content and attempt to pass it off as their unique content will only experience short term success. They may be able to capture an email address and build a list but will suffer from an inefficient sales funnel that only operates at 25% capacity.
Understanding the importance of list building –
This is a straight forward process. This is simply collecting an email address in exchange for something of value. This is the “quid pro quo” of every successful internet marketer. The more valuable the content or even perceived value of the content will equal a higher conversion. Conversion is simply how many people who view your offer provide their email address. For example, if 100 people view your offer and 10 of them provide you their email address, you are experiencing a 10% conversion ratio. The internet has created some very wealthy individuals who achieve a 10% conversion ratio. *You obviously need good analytical tracking software to be able to monitor your results.
Seek to nourish, nurture, and respect your list -
This is very important to me and it should be for you too. This is what separates the thrill seekers from the servant seekers. If you want to make a quick buck online then you don’t really need to concern yourself with treating your list like family. If you want to create a sustainable list of loyal repeat customers then treat your list like you would want to be treated.
Introduce revenue generating streams to the list –
To be clear, this is not affiliate programs, products or opportunities that you truly believe in. If you start throwing crap at your list they will quickly “de-list” or unsubscribe from your list and find shelter in somewhere else. Only recommend products that offer legitimate value and have been proven to work for you. If you see a product that looks good to you but you haven’t had the opportunity to test drive the program or product then simply be honest with your list by telling them the truth! Don’t over complicate it, it is really that simple.
As you can see, the “secrets” to success are not complicated. Follow these rules and you will be on the right path. Focus your attention on what tools you should use to increase your effectiveness after you have established the fundamentals.
Remember, this is only the beginning to your online endeavors. You will still need to master creation of a sales funnel, selection of the appropriate marketing method, experimentation with organic search engine optimization techniques, and scanning for processes of automation that make your online efforts easier and not harder.
